Message from the President

India Canada Consortium proudly continues its community inspired approach in promoting & preserving the rich and diverse Indo Canadian cultural heritage, fostering fraternity among people of Indian origin and the broader Canadian Community.

​ The past few years have shown that we are resilient despite the Global Pandemic which touched all our lives. ​

We stand firmly on our commitment to unite all community members with a common identity, the identity of being a human, overcoming the barriers of caste creed, race and religion. ​

Canada's commitment to multiculturalism has been instrumental in embracing and integrating diverse communities, including the Indian community. The Canadian government officially adopted a multicultural policy in 1971, followed by the passage of the Multiculturalism Act in 1988. This legislation aimed to promote cultural diversity and eliminate discrimination based on race, religion, or nationality.

In consonance to this policy we have successfully accomplished various cultural events, workshops, and seminars to promote understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusion. ​

Before I conclude, I express my sincere admiration for, and deepest thanks to, all the team, the volunteers, the patron, the well wishers for making this a grand success.
